Giulio Romano
This room, whose predominant color is yellow, enjoys a view of the Peristyle and is dedicated to Giulio Romano, one of the greatest architects and painters of the Italian Renaissance. Scholars agree that Francesco Della Torre, a friend of the Gonzaga, wanted him to be the architect of Villa Della Torre. Traits of Romano’s style appear in the Peristyle, the Fishpond and in the huge, mask-like Fireplaces.
The bathroom, in Giallo Macaubas Yellow and Black & Gold marble, is equipped with shower, Turkish bath and chromotherapy.
